David Harris, MD
... qualified as a building engineer in 1975 and learnt his trade managing
building sites in Britain. He moved to France in 1978 and set up his own
building company renovating properties in the Dordogne for English buyers.
In 1984 he moved to Montpellier in the South of France to work for a large
French building company specialising in Government irrigation contracts,
and left to start up his own company in 1989. His experience is in working
for mainly private buyers, but was recently commissioned by a large British
PLC to advise on the purchase and refurbishment of a chain of commercial
outlets.
Building and project management
John and Jill Dziobon (pronounced Jorban)
... look after our projects in the Charente region. John has his own building
firm which he runs with his wife Jill, and they have themselves bought an
old water mill which they have renovated and let part out as a Gite, so
are an invaluable source of information for anyone looking for inside knowledge
on renting out properties.
