Client comment
"We were looking to buy an old stone building in need of renovation
in the Montpellier region, but were getting nowhere with the local estate
agents.
I had two children aged 5 and 3, and my husband was tied up selling his
UK business, so neither of us had any time to continue our search.
We almost gave up until a friend recommended French Property Renovation.
We contacted David Harris who said that property search was not his forte,
but if we had exhausted the Estate Agent line of approach he would see if
he could help. After investigating our requirement FPR found a property
that was not yet on the market through the notaire network. It turned out
to be better than we dared hope, so we immediately bought the property before
it was advertised to the general public.
FPR found an architect who provided the initial sketches for free, arranged
for three renovation quotes, and provided a location report with details
of local schools and administrative contacts. They supervised the building
work in our absence, and the work came in on time and on budget. FPR were
efficient and helpful, ... it was much easier for us to deal with
a British builder that we could understand perfectly, and no danger of him
misinterpreting our brief."
